About Velocity

A business case for the coast.

On September 19, 2026, Velocity brought high school students to the University of Victoria for a free, student-led case competition.

The challenge was local: develop a response to an ocean-conservation issue grounded in the Victoria region. Teams of four to six worked through the evidence and presented their recommendations to professionals.

Speakers and networking sessions gave students time to meet peers and professionals alongside the case work.
