Open Arms Project community event Community Series

Open Arms Project

The Open Arms Project is a series of youth community building events in collaboration with the BC Youth Volunteer & Charity Society, including a mock trial workshop, cultural food exchange, craft fair, and badminton. With over 200 participants, this event was a massive success in achieving the mission of Open Minds Foundation.

The Striders EDU event is a community project of the CLI (Community Leadership Initiative) by S.U.C.C.E.S.S., featuring keynote speakers SFU professor Frederick Willeboordse, and Hugo Hu, a student at SFU Beedie School of Business.

Byng Project 3B Books Event

Open Minds Foundation, in collaboration with the VSB SWIS Byng Project 3B hosted a book swap and sharing event in the Lord Byng Secondary School library, featuring a special guest from the Vancouver Public Library (VPL) to share her experiences with some of the VPL program offerings.
